A French Delegation led by Mr. Philippe Serres (Regional Manager South Asia- Proparco) visited PBIT to discuss various business openings in Punjab. Proparco is the French agency for development. A meeting with Fatima Group took place where investment opportunities regarding renewable energy including solar plants, waste to heat and cement projects were discussed. Possible options regarding expansion and creating export potential in current business were discussed. The second meetings took place between Proparco, PBIT & 4 Brothers Group where matters regarding R&D, advancement in seed technology and pesticides were discussed. PBIT plans to continue such activities in future as well in order to promote Punjab as the land of opportunities.
