A two day Virtual conference on CPEC Industrial cooperation was organized by Center for Pakistan Studies, Peking University, Beijing in partnership with BOI Islamabad and provincial investment promotion agencies on 18th -19th May,2021, wherein Honorable Mr. Asad Umar, Minister for Planning Development, Excellency, Mr. Nong Rong. Ambassador of China to Pakistan, Excellency Mr. Moin ul Haq, Ambassador of Pakistan to China, other diplomats, researchers and government officials participated and shared their views and ideas on how to effectively promote industrialization under the development framework of CPEC, early execution of CPEC projects and collaboration between Pakistan and China to achieve the overall goals of development and economic growth of Pakistan. Dr. Erfa Iqbal, CEO PBIT presented a comprehensive engagement strategy on CPEC for Punjab province and invited local and Chinese investors to come together and join hands to fully enjoy the great potential of investment and industrial growth in Punjab.
