Consultants from the ADB visited the Punjab Board of Investment and Trade's (PBIT) office. The aim of the meeting was a technical consultation on Public Private Partnerships (PPP) in Punjab.

The Government of Punjab has worked previously with the ADB via the Efficiency Improvement Program in developing the PPP. However, the partnership ended with the close of the program on 30th June 2012.
The ADB, since the ending of the previous collaboration, has shown interest in continuing this work with the Government of Punjab through a US $50 million loan.
